Paola Ferrara
Always committed to social issues, I began my professional activity in the ranks of Legambiente, then in a project for the protection of forests in Brazil in partnership with Fundaçao SOS Mata Atlantica. I then moved on to the Directorate-General of the Environment (DGXI) of the European Commission for the promotion of the Ecolabel.
For 7 years I was in charge of the press office of Doctors Without Borders; then for four years I led the communications department of Banca Popolare Etica. I then joined AMREF (African Medical and Research Foundation) where I coordinated brand awareness, media relations and strategic planning activities.
Since 2014, I'm in charge of Sustainability at Confcooperative, the largest association of Italian cooperatives. I graduated cum laude in Political Science and have an MA in International Development and one in CSR Policies and Practices.
Since 2019, I'm director of Coopermondo.
