From the Sicilian sun and sea,
I'm a graduate in Local and Global Development (International Cooperation) from the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna in 2024, deeply committed to supporting causes related to human rights, environmental sustainability, and social and climate justice. My passion lies in addressing the climate crisis and its far-reaching socio-economic implications, being aware of the complexities of global development and the interconnectedness of various socio-economic and environmental factors. This crisis is not only intergenerational and intersectional but also a multiplier of inequalities and disparities, making it one of the most pressing challenges of our time.
My academic background and personal values drive me to contribute actively to mitigating the climate crisis and advocating for human rights. I believe that integrating these critical issues into the realm of International Cooperation is essential for fostering sustainable and equitable development. I'm looking for a way to gain practical experience in environmental cooperation and work in this field, and I hope this course will guide me in that directions!
