
Graduated in Interior Design and Product-Service System Design at Politecnico di Milano, she developed an interest in sustainable architectural design in fragile contexts in the Global South and thus specialised in Architecture and Design for Development and International Cooperation through the 2nd level Master's degree "Design for Development. Architecture, Urban Planning and Heritage in the Global South".
She is passionate about participatory design, self-construction and the use of local and natural techniques and materials. She has several study and work experiences in Italy and around the world: she studied in Germany and Austria and participated in workshops and laboratories in several European countries, as well as in Mozambique.
She has gained work experience collaborating with architecture studios and NGOs both in Italy and Kenya, and designed for several countries such as Kenya, Mozambique, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, China and Australia.
In 2020 she started working on the "Karibu Kimintet - The School in the Savanna", a international cooperation and rural development project to renovate the Kimintet school in Maasai Mara, Kenya, and in 2023 she co-founded A.PART - Actions for People, Architecture, Rights, Territory, a non-profit organization promoting development and solidarity projects in the Global South and in support of marginalized communities, based on a metholodology at the intersection of sustainable architecture, design, and law.
